People say I'm:Babbling Stage: You have to love it when children begin to speak! The babbling stage is a very early stage of language development, usually occuring around ages 3-4 months, in which children spontaneously produce all sorts of nonsensical, unrelated sounds. No real words are formed at this point, but children are just beginning to put sounds together in order to form words, which happens after the babbling stage.

On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:Absolute Threshold: This is a term that many students have a difficult time understanding, but it's not as complex as it might seem. One formal definition is that absolute threshold is the smallest intensity of a stimulus that has to be present for the stimulus to be detected. Let's use an example to clear this up. Think of an electric burner on a stove. Imagine turning that burner on and then placing your hand directly on it. At first you won't feel much heat because is takes time for the burner to heat up. But at some point it will get hot enough for you to detect…meaning, there is some temperature that is just hot enough for you to notice it. This isn't the point at which you get burned, but the point at which it is just hot enough for you to detect the presence of the heat

I may want to model. I've been told I would be good. I find that amusing, however I think my nieces and nephews would be even better.
I do have the walk down pat, that's for sure. Other than that, I consider myself average, but Baaaaabeeee, ask me to strut my stuff, and I can stop traffic. Maybe that's why I used to win contests without even trying. It's what I used to call, "My horse walk." Don't laugh, Girlfriend. It works. When you are a Nalita with nothing but ravishingly beautiful sisters and cousins, you must learn to somehow compensate.
Never mind that, though. What's that all about

I really love the absolute threshold. It's a great concept and I may have to steal it from you. It is in line with my own idea of Quantum Connections - because of the quantum nature of things, all is inevitably connected and that the things we do and the people we meet are the result of quantum connections and attractions.
Yay for Obama, Prince, babbling, and someone who has a brain. An above median brain, if I may say.
